WARNING: ~6,200 USDT Locked Forever After a Months-Long LeveX Review — Stay Away
WARNING: about 6,200 USDT is locked forever after a months-long LeveX Exchange Review Stay away, or you risk losing money you cannot claw back.
This is not a rumor thread. This is what happened to an ArbiSight operator account after we deposited, cooperated with every request, and waited. I am publishing it so no other person should lose their money the same way.
If you have never deposited on LeveX: do not start. If you still have a balance there: get it off while you still can. If a friend asks whether LeveX is “fine for small size”: tell them to stay away.
What I am asking you to do before you scroll
Do not wait for the “full story” to make the only decision that matters:
- Stay away from LeveX with funds you cannot afford to donate.
- Treat “under review by Risk / Compliance” with no named rule as a capital event, not a support ticket.
- Do not add size while a ticket is “still under review” with no ETA.
Screenshots and ticket mail are below. Read them. Then tell someone else.
The short version
- July 2026: fresh 5,000 USDT deposit into LeveX.
- Ticket #10608: they asked for a video. We sent it. They said it was forwarded.
- August: weeks of “still under review,” no ETA. They blocked closing existing positions while the review dragged. Open risk sat there. Who eats that P/L? Not them.
- 13 August: a LeveX affiliate outreach still arrived (
matt@levex.com) while the same user was already trapped in review. That timing still makes my stomach turn. - 10–11 September: ticket #11104. Permanent restriction. They claimed deposited funds were “fully withdrawn.” The account still showed around 6,200 USDT. They would not name the Terms of Use clause. They said the decision is final, not subject to appeal, and they will not disclose internal findings.
That last paragraph is the product. Not the slogan “Where Traders Thrive Together.”
July: deposit, cooperation, and the first stall
In July I deposited 5,000 USDT. Support opened #10608 and asked for a video. We recorded what they asked. On 31 July, Amy (LeveX Support) wrote that the video was received and forwarded, and that they would “keep us informed.”
That is the last time the process felt like a two-way street.
August: no ETA, and they froze the close button
3 August I asked for an update. Grace replied that the case was with the Risk Team, still under review, still no timeline.
12 August I asked the only operational question that matters during a freeze: why this long? Same day I told them the restriction was worse than a withdrawal hold. They had blocked trading — including closing existing positions — while those positions were still hitting the account.
You can argue a withdrawal freeze during a genuine investigation. You cannot seriously freeze the close and then pretend the trader owns the market risk. If the market moves against a locked position, that is their process eating your margin.
Grace’s answer: restrictions are “part of the review.” They cannot modify them. They will email when Risk Control speaks.
17–18 August I wrote what a lot of people write too late: I trusted the site, and I regretted it. They “understood the frustration.” Still no date. Still “carefully reviewed.”
That is not a “temporary KYC hiccup.” That is captivity with a ticket number.
September: “you already withdrew” while ~6,200 USDT sat on the screen
By 10 September the review had burned more than a month. I wrote that no serious exchange should need that long to watch a video, and that holding funds that long does not make sense.
Hours later the tone flipped from Risk theatre to Compliance verdict.
Jay (LeveX Support), ticket #11104, account 11XXX12:
- They “determined” a Terms of Service violation.
- Restriction effective immediately.
- Decision final and not subject to appeal.
- Claim: “You have fully withdrawn your deposited funds” and they would close the account.
I still had around 6,200 USDT visible. I asked the obvious question: when did I withdraw this amount? And what violation?
The follow-up from Compliance doubled down: permanent ban, no further withdrawals, because I had supposedly already taken out the entire deposited amount. Future associated accounts would face “further action.”
Read that again. They redefined the remaining equity as not withdrawable by calling it something other than the original deposit. The balance on the screen does not vanish because a template says “deposit returned.”

They would not name the rule. Then they called it final.
I asked, plainly: you said the account violated Terms of Use — what violation?
Amy’s replies (11 September) are a closed loop:
- Compliance “determined” a violation.
- The restriction will not be reconsidered based on anything in the email.
- Customer Support cannot take further action.
- They will not disclose internal findings, review criteria, or “confidential” assessment details.
- Therefore the restriction stands. Decision is final.
So: accused without a clause. Punished without an appeal. Educated with a slogan.
I am not going to pretend a blog post is a court. I will say this as an operator who has been in this market for years, who sits in rooms like Crypto Expo, and who has never had a book do this: stay away. Do not test whether you are the exception.
I also put on record, in the ticket, that I had referred people, that I would warn them, and that an affiliate program crypto ping from LeveX in August did not make this look like a careful partnership. If they wanted distribution, they should not have taught me what a “final review” feels like from the inside.
Why the number is ~6,200, not “zero leftover”
People hear “you withdrew your deposit” and shrug. The account still showed around 6,200 USDT. A July deposit of 5,000 USDT plus whatever remained in the account is not “fully withdrawn” just because Compliance typed it.
20 reasons I am telling you to stay away
These are the sentences I want in your head before you click “deposit.” Say them out loud if you have to.
- Stay away — ~6,200 USDT did not come home after a “completed review.”
- Stay away — they never named the Terms clause, then called the case closed.
- Stay away — “final, not subject to appeal” is a locked door, not a process.
- Stay away — a video in July did not buy a decision in August.
- Stay away — “no estimated timeframe” is how capital ages in someone else’s pocket.
- Stay away — freezing closes is not protecting you; it is trapping you.
- Stay away — open positions still bleed while Compliance writes templates.
- Stay away — “we understand your frustration” is not a withdrawal.
- Stay away — “fully withdrawn your deposit” can be a slogan while the UI still shows thousands.
- Stay away — a remaining balance is still your money until it sits in a wallet you control.
- Stay away — you cannot defend a charge they refuse to write down.
- Stay away — Customer Support will tell you they cannot override Compliance. That is the design.
- Stay away — “confidential internal findings” means you will not get a reason you can contest.
- Stay away — an affiliate email during a freeze is not a character reference you can cash.
- Stay away — referring friends to a book that can do this is how you inherit their anger.
- Stay away — Alerts will not ping you when a venue decides you are done.
- Stay away — do not park size on a name you cannot survive losing.
- Stay away — if you need the money, this is not a venue to “try with 5k.”
- Stay away — I published this so the next 5,000 USDT stays in your wallet.
- Stay away from LeveX — tell one other trader today. That is the whole point of this page.
If you already deposited
I cannot promise a path that works. I can tell you what I would not do: I would not add size, I would not wait politely for another month, and I would not assume the remaining equity is yours until it sits in a wallet you control.
Treat this article as free arbitrage education of the ugly kind: venue risk sits above every other number on the screen.
I am sharing this because no other person should lose their money to a review that never produces a charge sheet. If this page saves one deposit, it did its job.
Stay away.

Writer Review
Vas Crypto Trader
LeveX was the exchange involved in my case, Ticket #10608. I repeatedly asked for a clear explanation of what was happening, but I never received a proper reason or a specific violation that addressed my questions. The review dragged on while restrictions remained in place. I am sharing the email conversation as supporting evidence so other traders can understand what happened before trusting LeveX with their funds.
